attaining love and riches. He has found various omens and superstitions for predicting the
weather, good and bad luck your audiences will find fascinating,

hundreds of television and radio shows weeks prior to and
following New Year's Day as well as by numerous newspapers.
If you want your audiences to have a fun New Year, "Do as
the old-timey sorcerers advised to ward off evil and attract luck,
love, health and wealth," says Dossey, "clink your
glasses loudly, wear a red garter, eat turnip greens, black-eyed peas and
sauerkraut and sprinkle yourself lightly with powdered
dove droppings." And, of course, call for an interview.

HOW TO MAKE YOUR NEW
YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS WORK
As the turkey carcass and the bits of
tinsel from the dried out tree become only memories, thoughts
turn from the dim old year's successes and failures to the bright
new year's promise of opportunity and hope. Commitments are made,
to self and others ... resolved that this year ... "I will
not overeat; I won't procrastinate anymore; I will stop being so
negative and fearful; I will quit eating Snicker bars at night
... and on and on and on ... this year ... I resolve to do, be
and have the very best!"
And then, as in some "B" movies
of the thirties, the pages are torn from the calendar, and
January becomes July becomes November and we're back on the same
old horse on the same old carousel with guilt. anger and
frustration, resolving "NEXT YEAR will be ...!"
We wonder why New Year's Resolutions don't
work! Our heart is certainly in the right place, however often
our habits, lifestyles and fears keep us locked into the same old
patterns.
Dr. Dossey has some potent information and
T.I.P.S. (Tested Insights for Predictable Success) for audiences
throughout the world on how to combat the maladies of broken
commitments and HOW TO MAKE THIS YEAR'S NEW YEAR'S
RESOLUTIONS WORK!
